Nearly 36 years ago, actors Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger co-starred in the comedy Twins. They played a pair of genetically engineered twin brothers that were separated at birth. As it turns out, their on screen bond has lived on after the 1988 movie's success as well. Recently, the pair of stars were captured in a mini reunion.

Scwarzenegger shared a photo of himself, DeVito, and DeVito's daughter, Lucy on Instagram. The trio were all smiles for the picture, and Schwarzenegger wrote in the caption: “My brother! It was fantastic to see Danny on Broadway in I Need That. He and Lucy and everybody involved kept the audience entertained, laughing and loving every minute—one of the best plays I’ve ever seen, a true spectacle with heart!! I can’t wait to work together again.”

Although it has been over three decades since Twins was released, a sequel called Triplets was expected to be put in motion, in which DeVito and Schwarzenegger discover they have another sibling. Ivan Reitman, who directed the first film, was slated to work on the new production until his sudden death in 2022. While this tragic event has put the future of Triplets on hold, Schwarzenegger hints that he and DeVito will join together in a new project soon enough. If it's anything like their first film together, it's sure to be full of funny surprises and quirky charm.

Sir Anthony Hopkins is a screen legend who has earned two Oscars for his acting skills. But he is also no stranger to performing on the fly either. A couple of months ago, the Welsh actor posted a video of himself surprising hotel staff with a stunning piano composition. Recently, Hopkins was captured filling another hotel lobby—this time an empty one in Vancouver—with more beautiful music.

The short video was shared on Reddit, showing Hopkins confidently playing a piano without an audience. While most know the star for his iconic roles in films like The Silence of the Lambs, not many are aware of his love for music. In fact, Hopkins' Instagram has many clips of his piano-playing, including one where his cat sits on his lap while he plays.

Knowledgeable piano-lovers were quick to point out in the comments that the instrument Hopkins plays in Vancouver is from a well-known brand—Fazioli. “That's a very famous and expensive piano,” Reddit user @Clay_Statue writes. “A talented pianist would absolutely jump at the chance to play that. He saw it unattended so he went for it.” Although there appears to be no audience to hear Hopkin play, he seems perfectly content to fill the lobby with his compositions.

Nearly 4o years ago, Wham! debuted their 1986 holiday single “Last Christmas.” The single came along with a black and white cover photo of musicians George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley, which has remained an iconic portrayal of the duo. Actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney—who jointly own UK soccer team Wrexham—appear to recreate this photo just in time for the holidays.

Though it's actually a Photoshop by a Wrexham fan named Todd Cross (aka DarthPunk69), it is masterfully executed and McElhenney couldn't help but share it with everyone. The It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star shared a post on Instagram less than a week before Christmas. It included two of Cross' Photoshopped images of the actors styled in the likeness of the Wham! singers. These pictures were posted alongside the caption “WREXHAM!” and a Christmas tree emoji. The first features McElhenney as Ridgeley, with his hair spiked up, and Reynolds as Michael, with voluminous blond waves, posing in the same manner as the 1986 album cover. If you look closely, you can find the name of McElhenney and Reynolds' soccer team is included as an emblem in the top left-hand corner.

In the second image, the actors replicate the 1983 Wham! album Fantastic. Here, both men wear black leather jackets like 80s singers against a bright red backdrop, and McElhenney even sports a mustache like Ridgeley. The name Wrexham replaces Wham! in bold white text above the duo. In addition to being a bit of fun cosplay, these photos also celebrate the celebrities' rising soccer team and their docuseries Welcome to Wrexham. McElhenney's post was also shared ahead of the 7th anniversary of Michael's death, as the singer passed away on Christmas day in 2016 at the age of 53.

Just in time for the holidays, a soccer fan named Todd Cross decided to recreate the 1986 Wham! vinyl sleeve cover for “Last Christmas” by replacing George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley with the soccer team Wrexham's owners, Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds.

The 90s are having a comeback at the moment, from the fashion and style to the iconic era’s music. In fact, some people are looking back to their youth for inspiration, including Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The wrestler-turned-actor has one particular 90s picture of himself that has been widely shared in recent years. In the image, Johnson wears a simple yet somehow simultaneously flashy outfit that includes a thick silver chain and a fanny pack. For Christmas this year, the actor recreated the entire outfit—down to a wig of his 90s hairdo—and recorded a funny video he then shared on Instagram.

In the clip, Johnson walks down a hallway singing an altered version of Nat King Cole's”The Christmas Song.” “Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, ’90s Rock nipping at your nose,” the 51-year-old star sings. Casually lowering the camera to show all the details of his outfit, the actor presents how committed he is to the bit. He has it all—the turtleneck, the fanny pack, and the gold watch.

“I’m walking down the hall looking cool as f***; just take one look at my amazing clothes,” he continues to sing to the tune of the holiday song. Stopping alongside a Christmas tree, the camera pans down to catch him give a tap to his fanny pack before giving one of his signature smirks and blowing a kiss. “Merry Christmas, from your keepin’ it [100 emoji] friend. 90’s Rock,” Johnson captioned the clip.

The original image was taken sometime in the late 90s, when Johnson was first breaking out as a WWE wrestler. Ever since it resurfaced, it has become so beloved that it has amassed over 4 million likes. And while it could also have worked amazingly as a Halloween costume, the actor chose to turn this throwback into a holiday treat. After all, how many actors can say they cosplayed as themselves? Even though some heavier music genres may not be as popular among the general public, they are home to some of the most gifted musicians out there. The band Polyphia is a great example of this, especially their lead guitarist, Tim Henson. By offering an unplugged version of one of the group's top hits, “Playing God,” he also got to showcase his amazing guitar playing abilities, which are nothing short of hypnotic.

The original version has always had a flamenco-like vibe thanks to the speed and melodic smoothness of Henson's performance. Yet the unplugged version strips it from the drums and rhythm guitar to shine a light on both an enthralling song and its virtuoso performer. For all the complexity of “Playing God,” the guitarist plays with an air of focused effortlessness that makes it even more impressive.

At 30 years old, Henson has been playing guitar for 20 years. While he is highly respected as a rock musician, his style has been informed by a wide array of genres. “He is known for incorporating a wide range of musical influences and techniques into his playing—including hybrid picking, tapping, harmonics, sweep picking, and jazzy chord progression—to create a unique sound that is both technically impressive and emotionally rich,” writes Charlie Griffiths from Guitar World.

When asked about his guitar playing, Henson once said, “I had this idea that I wanted to be the best guitar player on Earth.” If this video is any proof, he may already be nearing the top. In addition to that mesmerizing version of “Playing God,” Henson also tackled other songs in his YouTube channel, as well as sharing insights into his creative process and life as a musician.

Harmonicas are an alluring element in many music genres, such as folk, jazz, and country. However, they usually only get a few seconds to shine or are just a small part in an intricate instrumentation. But not for Indiara Sfair. The Brazilian musician has expanded the creative possibilities of this tiny instrument, putting the harmonica in the spotlight with her thrilling technique.

Sfair has been playing harmonica for years, perfecting her unique style over time. “I got my first harmonica from a friend when I was fifteen years old. It was a birthday present. He knew I liked blues and musical instruments, so he decided to give me one,” she explains. “He could not guess that he was giving me something far more valuable than a harmonica.”

While Sfair's solo performances are upbeat and exciting, like watching an athlete at the top of their game, those made in collaboration with guitarist Tiago Juk are simply hypnotic. This is particularly true for her original song “Simbiose,” which seems to tell a story of victory in the face of hardships through the melody. The video for this tune has been watched over 700,000 times, with many listeners clamoring for a whole album like that track.

Sfair not only makes the harmonica the star of the show, but also plays loops and experiments with chords and melody. She even beatboxes with the harmonica as a type of percussion. “What I love most about this little instrument is that it can really cry and express the feelings in a very true way. Harmonica is [a] small but very rich instrument, you always find a new way to play, a new effect!” she said.

To Sfair, this little instrument has brought her everything she has always dreamed of—an emotional connection that can be felt in her music and a devotion to the instrument. “The harmonica has shown me that with dedication, love, work, we can reach our goals and be recognized for it,” she says. “[It] brought me my greatest achievements, brought me many friends and gave me a career. It permeates all areas of my life: financial, emotional, social, [and] professional.”

Thanks to the new film The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, the Hunger Games series is seeing a revival. This series of novels by Suzanne Collins about a dystopian future where rival districts send contestants to play a deadly game became a cultural phenomenon that helped launch Jennifer Lawrence's career after they were transformed into films. The new film, which is a prequel to the four movies released between 2012 and 2015, got BuzzFeed author Sarah Aspler curious about what would happen if the United States decided to start their own Hunger Games.

Turning to AI, Aspler created a set of tributes for each U.S. state and the results are fascinating. Hunger Games is known for the fantastical costumes they outfit their players in, each representing the characteristics of their respective district. And these looks are no different.

Some are hilariously based on food, such as Wisconsin's cheese-based look and Idaho's potato headpiece. Others play on nature, with Connecticut's contestants wearing costumes based on fall foliage and Washington's players outfitted in a lush green moss look inspired by the forest.

And, since this is AI, others play on obvious stereotypes. New Jersey's contestants look like they belong on Jersey Shore, while Colorado's pair is decked out as snow bunnies. But overall, there seems to be more variety than usual when it comes to the imagery that AI produces. There are different body types and more minority representation than one often sees.

And while some looks have quite obvious ties to the state they are based on, others have a more subtle approach. This makes this AI Hunger Games series even more enjoyable to look at, as you'll continue to see new details when examining the images. The red carpet is often a space for celebrities to present utmost glamour. And while this usually means high couture, it is also expected for women to show up with a full face of makeup. Recently, Pamela Anderson decided to subvert this assumption, attending upscale events with a makeup-free look. In doing so, the 56-year-old actress sent an inspiring message to women from all walks of life.

Her latest makeup-free appearance took place at the 2023 Fashion Awards Red Carpet, where she donned an an all-white ensemble with her hair pulled back in a ponytail. With these fashion choices, her natural look took center stage.

This comes a few months after Anderson debuted her no-makeup look at the high-stakes Paris Fashion Week. “I don't know, something just kind of came over me, and I was dressing in these beautiful clothes, and I thought, ‘I don't want to compete with the clothes. I'm not trying to be the prettiest girl in the room.' I feel like it's just freedom. It's a release,” she said in an interview with Vogue.

While going to that first event with no make up on made her a little uneasy, the feeling rapidly faded. “It felt a bit like jumping off a bridge, but I just smiled. And when I got home from the show, that’s when I decided I wanted to go makeup free the entire week,” she said. Her choice was then praised by other celebrities, like Jamie Lee Curtis, who wrote, “This woman showed up and claimed her seat at the table with nothing on her face. I am so impressed and floored by this act of courage and rebellion.”

As if challenging this wasn't tough on its own, Anderson is aware that her age would put extra scrutiny on her. “I feel as a woman and a woman of my age, and a woman in the public eye… it's also your job to be a model of everything. Just all sorts of choices. So I am just being me, kind of who I am, in all these great clothes running around Paris,” she added.

For all the constant messaging on social media about how women are supposed to look and  what they are expected to do to achieve that, Anderson's message is not only inspiring, but also liberating. “I know I wasn’t making strides toward world peace, but I was making a statement,” Anderson noted in an interview. “I just thought, ‘I’m doing this for all the girls out there.’ I’ve had stepdaughters in past relationships and my sons have girlfriends, and this was for them. In this day and age, do we even know what a face looks like anymore? This is it.”

Pamela Anderson has been challenging expectations by attending upscale events and red carpets with a makeup-free look.

Beyoncé's Renaissance film premiere brought together many luminaries. Among the A-listers in attendance were Taylor Swift and Blake Lively, who have been friends for many years. The pair decided to mark the event with a striking photograph that caught the attention of fans, the media, and even a couple of pranksters. One of the latter decided to give this image a funny twist, photoshopping the faces of the women’s respective partners—Travis Kelce and Ryan Reynolds—over theirs. Reynolds, no stranger to trolling his wife, saw an opportunity to poke some fun at her by sharing the altered version.

The original image was posted by Swift to Instagram among other shots taken by photographers Mason Poole and Kevin Mazur. In the picture, two friends embrace each other while sitting on a blue velvet couch, with Lively daringly placing her hand on Swift's thigh. The alluring photograph was then edited by a creator known as karthiknjartist. A long-time fan of Reynolds and the superhero franchises he has starred in, this is far from the first cheeky edit he has posted.

More so, karthiknjartist created other funny versions of Lively and Swift's image, including one starring Deadpool and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, and another one with Jason Momoa in Lively's place, who doesn't look entirely out of place given his long, luscious hair.  Yet the version that caught Reynolds' eye was the one starring him and his friend's football beau. He then posted it to his Instagram story with the caption: “I feel like I should remember this.”

Reynolds and Lively are longtime friends of Swift, with Lively even directing a music video for the singer. There is also speculation about Swift joining Reynolds on Deadpool 3 as the character Dazzler. And while Kelce is relatively new to the friend group, he is known for displaying his sense of humor on New Heights, the podcast he hosts with his brother Jason. With a little luck, we may soon see a funny image of this caliber starring the two men, no Photoshop needed.
